Using the template

The template has now been saved and is ready to be used in an album. Therefore we close the current template with the Main Menu option Close.

Then we start a new album with the Main Menu option New Album and then New Album with template.

In the dialog that appears you will notice that our self-made template is also shown:

We select our profile by double clicking it. Stamp Album Studio will now start a new album with the design of our template:

The first we will do now is set the title (VICTORIA) through the Main Menu option Properties. Next we draw a stamp (size 20mm x 30mm) with the Layout Wizard and add the following three labels.

The page will look like this:

We notice the following:

The labels of the stamp have the fonts we defined in the template;
The title had been defined in the template is replaced by the real title that we entered in the screen "Properties" for this album. Another album however might also use this template, but it will have another title that replaces the title of the template. So the title of a template is a "place holder" for the real title of the album.

Finally we can save and print the album.
